Mass Effect 3 Exorcises Online Players

Mass Effect 3 Exorcises Online Players

None

BioWare is exercising its Mass Effect 3 muscle with another online multiplayer event for those Xbox 360 and PC players (PS3 owners have been left in the lurch) who crave a greater purpose in their play. The in-universe impetus for the event is tied to classified data, which Cerberus has apparently been retrieving at a rate far exceeding that of the allied forces. So begins Operation Exorcist, which combats a Cerberus offensive and information grab.

The goal is two-fold: on the Squad side of things, a group of players must survive until extraction against any enemy on any map on Gold difficulty. This will provide all squad members with a Commendation Pack. The Allied goal, however, which spans the entirety of the online community, is to kill one million Cerberus Phantoms. If this is accomplished, players will receive a Victory Pack.

For those who wish to participate, we remind you to set your “Upload Gameplay Feedback” setting to “ON,” and log in for a few games this Friday at 6 PM PST. You’d better hustle—the event is over at 5 AM PST on Monday, April 30.
