Microsoft has just revealed the free games that you will be getting as part of its Games With Gold promotion. The first is an indie game, Dust: An Elysian Tail . This fast paced Metroidvania style platforming action game puts you in control of a samurai furry in a quest for justice. It sounds corny, but it’s actually very fun to play and it’s one of the most beautiful 2D platformers on the Xbox 360. Dust: An Elysian Tail will be available from May 1 st to May 15 th as a free download.
The second title is a AAA game, Saints Row: The Third . Granted now that Saints Row 4 is out, Saints Row: The Third is a little less appealing. However, if you haven’t been keeping up with the Saints Row franchise, this is a perfect place to start. Yes, really, you don’t have to play the first two. Saints Row: The Third will be available from May 16 th to May 31 st as a free download.
As is the case with all Games with Gold, the games will be yours to keep whether or not you decide to retain your Xbox Live Gold membership.
