Medal of Honor: Warfighter Coming In October

Medal of Honor: Warfighter Coming In October

None

The latest edition of Xbox Magazine contains a little treat for the Medal of Honor fans among us. The franchise plans to launch its latest sequel, called Medal of Honor: Warfighter, sometime in October.

The sequel is built on the impressive Frostbite 2.0 engine, the tech that powers Battlefield 3, and will be developed by Danger Close. Some of you may remember Danger Close by its old name, EA LA. Either way, they were the culprits behind the single-player component from 2010’s MoH reboot.

From what little information we have, it sounds like the storyline will continue to follow the Tier 1 operators from the last title. There’s no word about any specifics, but if it’s anything like its predecessor, it will have a heavy emphasis on real-world battles.

Many doubted the potential popularity of the last MoH title, but it ended up selling over 5 million copies, which made it a financial success. Lets hope they can continue the trend with Medal of Honor: Warfighter this fall.
