Square Enix has announced Mindjack for Xbox 360 and PS3, coming to the platforms in October of 2010. This action shooter, with heavy emphasis on online play, is being developed by Feelplus, known mostly for its graphical work on Mistwalker-developed RPGs (Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery). Mindjack is set in 2031 and will use XP and an abilities upgrade system to improve player characters. Because of the technological sophistication of the setting, players will use their “hacker’s arts” in order to control the battlefield and even the minds of their opponents.
