Sony has good news for early adopters of the 3D television format. SCEE studio director Mick Hocking has revealed the Sony currently has plans to adapt over fifty titles to the 3D format. “We’re applying 3D to more than twenty internal games at Sony,” Hocking said. “It’s a very positive thing to see the great level of interest in 3D from our development studios…Overall we have more than fifty titles currently being converted into 3D, and this number is growing fast…Some of them are massive names. That’s a really, really good sign that the industry is behind our unique message that 3D is a key element in the future of home consoles.”  Hocking didn’t give any timeline as to when the 3D enabled titles would be ready. |
