Namco Bandai Unveils Symphonia Collection

Namco Bandai Unveils Symphonia Collection

At this weekend’s Tales of Festival, Namco Bandai conducted the worldwide reveal of the Tales of Symphonia Unisonant Pack—tentatively retitled for Western release as the Tales of Symphonia Collection—which serves as a PlayStation 3 HD rerelease of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, released originally on the GameCube and Wii U respectively.

Tales of Symphonia was the Tales game that put the series back on the Western radar, and stood out as one of the most fulfilling RPG experiences on the GameCube. While Dawn of the New World did not receive similar critical acclaim, it was another solid entry in the Tales series and continued the story of the previous game directly from where it had left off.

While Japanese players will be able to get their hands on the collection on October 10, Western gamers will have to wait patiently until early 2014. It should be well worth the wait.
