NBC Becoming More Game Friendly

NBC Becoming More Game Friendly

None

Move over Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NBC seems to be readying a new show that focuses on video game culture and those who create video games. This is according to Joystiq, who is quoting this information from an anonymous source. Although the source didn’t lay out a finalized name or a specific date that it would appear, the working title was said to be “Game On” and that the pilot was being planned for primetime.

The source also stated that the project was being helmed by a former Ubisoft designer, T.J. Allard, and co-host Audrey Cleo, known for her work on Qore. While the details are fairly scant, the idea of primetime network show based on video game culture would seem to herald the fact that the audience for video games is much larger, and more diverse than it has ever been.
