New Drakengard DLC Features Remixed Tracks from Nier

New DLC has just released for Drakengard 3 ! No, it’s not the next story episode. Sorry, Drakengard fans, you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer for that. Instead, it’s a new set of costumes and a music expansion pack that features remixed tracks from Square’s lesser known title Nier .

The tracks included in the pack will be Song of the Ancients ,” Emil ,” and Ashes of Dreams .” They can be chosen in the stage music menu, though all three of these songs are mostly soft ballads and seem somewhat out of character for Drakengard . We will have to wait and see what changes in the remixes. Maybe they’ll all be dubstep!

The costumes are based around Drakengard 2 ’s Mana and Eris and each provides a small in-game benefit. Manah’s outfit makes healing items 20% more effective while Eris’ outfit allows you to guard enemy attacks without using stamina.

The Nier music pack will retail for 200 yen on the PSN, while each individual costume will retail for 300 yen. A “baby head” accessory for Mikhail is also available for a mere 100 yen.
