Ninja Gaiden 3 Announced

Ninja Gaiden 3 Announced

None

Those who love a little punishment in their games are likely fans of the incredibly challenging Ninja Gaiden series. While the first two 3D iterations of the series were great, there have been some doubts creeping in about a potential third entry, as former Team Ninja studio head Tomonobu Itagaki would no longer be working on it. However, according to Videogamer, Ninja Gaiden 3 was officially announced behind closed doors at TGS.

From the sounds of it, Ninja Gaiden 3 seems like it will be exactly what fans of the series would expect. Players will once again be placed in the shoes of series protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. The only artwork revealed for the title shows Hayabusa tugging at his face mask, completely covered in blood smears, and with a reflection of what appears to be another person in his eye, upon close inspection. Little else is known about the title, such as a release date, which consoles it will be coming to, or even some sort of plot details.
