Man, there are all sorts of weird video game mashups happening these days. Nintendo recently announced a brand new Dynasty Warriors game with Zelda characters! The game, with the tentative name Hyrule Warriors , allows you to control perhaps the coolest and most anime Link yet. You’ll be tasked with taking down hordes of moblins, finding treasure, throwing like seventeen bombs at once, and performing the coolest spin-attack the series has ever seen.
It’s not clear what part of the Zelda timeline Hyrule Warriors takes place in, nor is it clear if you will be able to control any character other than Link, though It would be cool if you could. Zelda/Sheik could definitely build up your enemies per minute count.
Hyrule Warriors does not have a release date yet, but it will be released exclusively for the Wii U.
