Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir Bringing Ragnarok Back

Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir Bringing Ragnarok Back

One of the prettiest games on the PS2 was Atlus and VanillaWare’s Odin Sphere , and now it’s poised to become a star on the PS3, PS4, and Vita as well. The developer and publisher announced a remake called Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir that will come to Japan on January 14, 2016, and hopefully be released worldwide shortly after (worldwide release has not yet been officially confirmed).

Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir is the tale of four characters’ adventures before Ragnarok, whose stories are all connected. Of course, you don’t see how unless you play. The remake will have HD graphics, a longer and improved story, gameplay tweaks to improve performance, and new content. Of course, if you thought it was perfect as-is, there will also be the option to play a prettier version of the original.

Here’s a trailer for the remake:

If you’d rather not wait for a bigger, better, and prettier version of Odin Sphere and have a PS3, you can play the title right now. It’s available as a $9.99 PS2 Classic on the PlayStation Store.
