Although Civilization V was certainly one of the best-reviewed strategy games of 2010, it wasn’t without its issues. One of the biggest problems with the game was the AI, which didn’t respond to rapid changes in strategy the way it should have (which led to a less-challenging game). Though these problems weren’t as palpable on easier difficulty settings, playing the game on hard really highlighted these AI difficulties.  However, a patch has been released today that makes the AI more responsive and makes the harder difficulty levels feel more balanced. In addition to the new AI improvements, this patch also adds an “Angry” Genghis Kahn loading screen to replace the fluffy bunny Genghis Kahn loading screen. |
