As long as there are aliens to shoot with Needlers, the Halo franchise will never die. A new Halo trilogy is being developed by 343 Industries, and they have dubbed it the “Reclaimer Trilogy.” First of all, the new trilogy will be a far more personal take on Halo. It will delve into Master Chief’s character and personal motivations. It will also stress exploration while showing new varieties of ruined alien technology. It actually sounds like it will be taking a few cues from Metroid, in fact. Of course, the game will have an expansive multiplayer suite. Both co-op and competitive multiplayer are in the works, but there aren’t many details beyond that.
