Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity Delayed And Renamed

Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity Delayed And Renamed

The unveiling of Peter Molyneux’s first post-Lionhead studios project has been delayed. The project, being developed by new studio 22 Cans, is now scheduled to go public this September.

In addition, Molyneux has to change the project’s name. While the project was originally named Curiosity, supposedly Molyneux can’t use that name because of NASA’s Mars rover of the same title. Molyneux has not yet chosen a new name for the strange social experiment.

The project works like this: All players will be put in the same room with the same black cube, and the only action they can take is tapping on the cube in order to chisel away at it. There is a prize at the center and only the player that registers the final tap will be able to claim the prize. However, the prize will be revealed to them and only them, and they will have to take it upon themselves to somehow prove that they were the winner.

To help yourself along, you are able to spend real-world money to buy better chisels. The best chisels will cost tens of thousands of dollars. Molyneux is interested in who would spend that money to receive an unknown prize, and how the winner of the prize will prove himself to the community.
