Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity Now Out On iOS

Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity Now Out On iOS

Peter Molyneux’s strange social experiment/game, Curoisoty: What’s Inside the Cube, has just launched on iOS. The game asks its players to chip away at a large cube by tapping at their mobile device’s screen. The kicker is that there is only one cube, so everyone who is playing curiosity is chipping away at this very same cube. The lucky player who gives it the final tap will unlock a video that apparently contains a “life-changing secret.” However, this video will not be shared with everyone who plays the game, only the winner, and that winner may then choose whether or not to share this secret with the world.

The app is free on iOS devices right now, and should be hitting Android devices sometime in the near future. Hopefully, the iOS users won’t chip away at the cube fast enough to reveal its secrets before the Droid users get their go. The game will also soon offer DLC to allow you to chip away at the cube faster, though, once again, only the last person to tap it will be able to see this “life changing” video.

Just what sort of life-changing secrets can a game developer like Molyneux really offer? I guess we won’t ever find out unless that lucky winner decides to reveal it to the rest of the world.
