Portal 2 Gets PC Motion Control, DLC

Portal 2 Gets PC Motion Control, DLC

None

Have you ever felt that Portal 2 would benefit from the motion control revolution? Steam, today, unveiled the Razer Hydra, a motion control device at the price of $140 in what the service is calling the “Sixense Motionpack.”

Those who purchase it will receive two of the six-button, one-thumbstick controllers (wired to the base station) and a copy of Portal 2 with the Sixense Motion Pack DLC, which contains new levels of Portal 2 designed specifically for Sixense users.

The Razer Hydra is purported to work with over 125 PC games out of the box, promising that users will not have to wait for “scarce” motion control games to hobble onto shelves. For those who have played Portal 2, Bulletstorm, Left 4 Dead 2, or Call of Duty: Black Ops without the benefit of motion control, do you feel that a purportedly pinpoint accurate motion control system would benefit you in any of these titles? If so, the Hydra may be for you.
