For fans of the Stronghold series, the folks at 7sixty and Firefly Studios have just made Stronghold 3 twice as appealing. Today, the publishers announced that players who pre-order Stronghold 3 from Steam will also pocket the original Stronghold free of charge. And to make the pot even sweeter, they’re also throwing in an exclusive map called Tower of London. Jason Holtman, Director of Business Development at Valve said “Offering the original Stronghold, along with the exclusive Tower of London map, for those who pre-order is a fantastic incentive and offers fans—both old and new—great value for money.” For the uninitiated, Stronghold is a real-time strategy game that allows users to design and build mighty castles. Then players must hunker down as evil-doers attempt to siege the castle and plunder all of their valuables. The gameplay, however, has far more depth than a simple RTS. Players must also concentrate on building a stable economy and keeping the citizens content. 
This package is a value that rivals any offered by the late infomercial titan, Billy Mays. If you’re looking for an RTS fix, you had better jump on this deal before they jack the price up. |
