PS3 Mass Effect 2 Further Detailed

None

When Mass Effect 2 was officially announced for the PS3 yesterday, it came as a relief to the many PS3 owners who have had their fingers crossed that the action RPG series would go multiplatform. However, it also left a few important questions unanswered, such as what will be included and how will newcomers jump into the sequel? Thankfully, BioWare has addressed some of these issues in a recent interview with VG247.

BioWare’s Ray Muzyka states “One of the things we’re doing is that we’re bringing a lot of the post-release downloadable content and will integrate it into the experience, so that PS3 fans can check that out and play it.” Talking about newcomers to the sequel he reveals “We’re making sure there’s a really seamless introduction to the world of Mass Effect, for players that haven’t experienced it before.” He continues “We haven’t revealed what that is yet. It’ll be something that provides a good introduction and provides a lot of the back-story and introduces you well to the story-arc, and kind of makes you feel like you’re part of it all. And then you can jump right into the action in Mass Effect 2.” Apparently, we’ll have to wait until closer to the game’s release in January before they’ll let us in on the specifics, but this was a good start at clearing up the confusion.
