According to the PlayStation blog, Sony has decided to get rid of one of the two PSP-3000 bundles. Which one? The 4 GB Memory PSP Entertainment Pack. It seems as though the vast amount of interest in the PSP-3000 bundles has rested with the Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack. Thankfully, the loss of the other bundle doesn’t mean the loss of the Piano Black PSP. In December, Sony will be packaging the black PSP-3000 in with the R&C bundle. Here’s what John Koller, director of hardware. Had to say on the subject: “Based on ongoing discussions with our retail partners and the feedback they have received from their customers, SCEA has seen significant interest in the Ratchet & Clank Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack in North America, which includes the updated PSP-3000. As a result, we will be streamlining our PSP hardware lineup and will no longer be offering the previously announced 4GB Memory PSP Entertainment Pack.”
