PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has seen more success than anyone could have even begun to imagine. This success has had incredibly positive effects on the game itself. A great example of this is that it’ll be releasing on Xbox One in the future, with the very real possibility that it could release on other consoles as well. There’s also the fact that Playerunknown wants to include single-player in the game in the future.
A Reddit AMA revealed this when Playerunknown was answering the questions. He said the popularity of PUBG is keeping the team entirely busy at the moment. They have to give all their time and effort into developing what they have. But the fact that a single-player aspect could be coming to the game should be enough the whet anyone’s appetite.
In the meantime, the currently online-only multiplayer game will continue rolling out its regular updates. This will soon include three brand new vehicles. The only car that’s been revealed thus far has a Volkswagen Bus feel to it. Keep an eye out for the next three vehicles to be announced!
