Sony and Quantic Dream are getting ready to drop Heavy Rain in February. Ahead of the release, they’ve decided to bolster pre-order numbers by including access to the first episode of bonus content for consumers who place a pre-order for the psychological crime thriller. Called Heavy Rain Chronicles, Chronicle One – The Taxidermist will be included for with pre-orders. Thereafter, additional Chronicles episodes will cost players $4.99 via PSN. According to a post by SCEA Product Marketing Manager, Jefferson Dong, [**snickers**] “Each Chronicle will offer unique, stand-alone, playable short stories featuring one of Heavy Rain’s main characters, and a storyline taking place either before or after Heavy Rain’s original narrative. Similar to Heavy Rain, each episode will offer a unique journey and different outcomes based on the players’ decisions and actions.”
