Resident Evil 6 Officially Announced

None

A new installment to the Resident Evil franchise has just been announced, and the world has gone to zombie apocalyptic hell.

It’s been ten years since the outbreak in Raccoon City, and the President is ready to come clean to the world. However, right before he spills the beans, a bio-terrorist attack stops his speech short and… zombies! So now it’s Leon S. Kennedy against the zombie President. No, I am not making this up.

Meanwhile over in China, another bio-terrorist attack is going down and the population is in absolute chaos. Who can put down this international menace? Chris Redfield, of course. That’s right, Leon and Chris are going to team up for the first time ever in a Resident Evil game.

There’s also a mysterious new character who’s been revealed. We don’t know much about him other than the fact that he is a mercenary, and, for some reason, his blood is special. Perhaps he cannot be zombified?

That’s not all. It looks like the classic T-Virus zombies return, along with Las Plagas and all sorts of horrible mutant creatures. There is even something that looks like a Tyrant or a Nemesis decked out in steampunk prosthetics.

The game is scheduled to come out this November, which is quite a bit earlier than we expected considering we haven’t heard much news about it until now.
