Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Cheats & Cheat Codes for Windows and Mobile

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is a 2016 free-to-play card game developed and published by Konami. Based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime, the game brings dueling action to both PC and mobile devices.

Overall, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links was a solid addition to the series’ gaming offerings. It was good enough to hold an 80 on Metacritic, indicating strong reviews all around. Critics know exactly what to expect from Yu-Gi-Oh!, so it takes a lot to impress them at this point. In terms of players, the game was massively helped by being free-to-play. By March 2022, it was reported that the game had managed to hit 150 million downloads across all platforms, with a colossal 75 billion cards collected by players.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links takes the classic card game, and simplifies things a little for newer players. It uses a ruleset called Speed Duels, which features a few rule changes that make Duels go much faster. For example, Life Points for each Duelist is set at 4000, while the number of Monster Zones and Spell/Trap Zones is reduced from five to three. You also start with a four-card hand instead of the five in the regular ruleset. These changes were generally praised, suiting the faster-paced gameplay necessitated by the mobile platform. Other than that, it’s standard Yu-Gi-Oh! fare. All the old favorites are here, including characters and Monster cards. It even includes many characters and cards from the newer spin-offs, so there’s something for every generation of Yu-Gi-Oh! fan.

The main objective of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is to duel against Legendary Duelists, which in turn unlocks progressively harder opponents. You can unlock new Duelists to play as, too, through a series of character Unlock Missions. Building your deck is another essential part of the experience. You obtain new cards by either defeating other Duelists, or by purchasing card packs via microtransactions.

Once you’ve got your perfect deck together, you can even test your Yu-Gi-Oh! skills in the game’s PvP mode, which sees you take part in Duels with random players worldwide. The ranked ladder keeps track of who the best players in the world are, so every duel means something here.

In terms of characters, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links covers all bases. The game not only features a massive selection of characters from the original anime, but from all of the spinoffs, too! The best part is that you can even play as them all. These are unlocked by completing their Unlock Missions, or taking part in special in-game events.

You’re presented with the option of playing as either Yami Yugi or Seto Kaiba at the beginning of the game. However, this really is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are all the characters you can play as in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links.

since Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has an online mode where you can duel against other players worldwide, the game doesn’t allow for any real cheat codes to be entered. It would make it far too unfair on newer players, who would be destroyed every time they went into a match.

However, the game does feature plenty of unlockable characters, so we’re going to show you how you can unlock some of your favorite characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and its spinoffs. Every character has their own Unlock Missions, which are only available when you complete a set objective for each.

Technically, you can mod the main menu of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, giving it a custom appearance. It’s not quite a cheat code that will give you an in-game advantage, but it’s something.

Tis is only available on the PC version of the game.

It can be safely presumed that the lack of cheat codes is down to the online section of the game. If players were able to cheat, then everyone who was already good at the card game would have an enormous advantage over newer players. This would make it near-impossible for people fresh to the game to have a good time, instead just being stomped by Yu-Gi-Oh! veterans.
