Elex II is a single-player action-role-playing game developed by Piranha Bytes. The game was released in 2022 and received mixed reviews for its clunky controls yet compelling gameplay and story. The title is a follow up from the 2017 release of Elex and players continue the story with the main protagonist, Jax. During the game’s first month on Steam, it sold over $2 million worth of units.
Elex II Premise
Players once again follow Jax as the threat of an alien invasion looms overhead. There are six different factions that players can choose to align with, each giving their own perks and philosophy. As the aliens plan their attack, Jax must stop them by uniting the factions together before it’s too late.
