Scarlet Nexus Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Windows, and More

Scarlet Nexus Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Windows, and More

When Scarlet Nexus was initially revealed, I thought it was a sequel to Bandai Namco’s soulslike effort, Code Vein. I like Code Vein a lot. I was extremely excited for Scarlet Nexus just to be crushed by the fact there is no correlation whatsoever. Scarlet Nexus is an action role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Tose and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released on June 25, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S. The game arrived with generally favorable reviews and currently sits at 80 across its platforms on Metacritic.

The Premise Of Scarlet Nexus

In Scarlet Nexus, you control one of two playable characters who are tasked with defending the city of New Himuka from creatures known as the Others. The gameplay emphasizes real-time combat as the player has direct control over their characters while fighting. The two playable characters are similar but different enough to warrant multiple playthroughs. As the player progresses through the game, they gain different NPC party members who assist in combat. Each companion has their own unique combat abilities, which can then be acquired by the protagonists through an ability named “brain link”.

The Main Characters Of Scarlet Nexus

  • Yuito Sumeragi – A bright and positive-minded young recruit with a kind heart. He is the second son of the prestigious Sumeragi family, his ancestor was the founding father of New Himuka.
  • Kasane Randall – An elite soldier with superb fighting skills and power, she was scouted by the OSF and graduated at the top of her class.
  • Hanabi Ichijo – Yuito’s childhood friend. She is cheerful and energetic and has access to the power of Pyrokinesis.
  • Kyoka Eden – The motherly platoon commander known in the OSF for her beauty. She has the power of duplication that allows her to copy both people and objects.
  • Shiden Ritter – A soldier who feels the need to prove that he is capable. He adores Captain Seto especially since they share the same ability of Electrokinesis.
  • Tsugumi Nazar – a shy but capable member of the OSF under Captain Seto. She is a friend of Kagero Donne and has the ability of Clairvoyance.
  • Kagero Donne – An older OSF member known for his playful nature. He has the ability of Invisibility.
  • Gemma Garrison – A senior member of the OSF and a member of Kyoka’s platoon. He has the ability of Sclerokinesis.
  • Luka Travers – The younger brother of Karen Travers who is known for his obsession with fitness. He has the ability of Teleportation.
  • Arashi Spring – Known by her teammates as “Lazy Ara” due to her bare minimum attitude. She has the power of Hypervelocity.

Other Titles in the Series

Scarlet Nexus is set in its own universe, however it is consistently compared to some other games with similar art styles and gameplay.

Code VeinCode Vein is an open-world action role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic environment and played from a third-person perspective. Its gameplay was inspired by the Dark Souls series of games with animation inspired by God Eater 3.

God Eater God Eater is a series of sci-fi action role-playing video games developed by Shift and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The gameplay consists of players embarking on various missions to hunt specific monsters. The primary goal of the game is to complete missions by successfully taking out powerful monsters.

Scarlet Nexus Cheat Codes

Musubi Codes

The game has an interesting crossover with its anime adaption. You can speak to the blue-donned Musubi at the front of the Musubi’s restaurant to tell her the codes that were hidden in the Scarlet Nexus anime. Each code unlocks something in-game. These codes are case-sensitive.
