Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Summary

Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order puts players in the shoes of Jedi-in-hiding Cal Kestis. Set several years after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, nearly all the Jedi are dead or in hiding following Order 66. Cal spends his days living as a scrapper until a fateful occurrence causes him to use The Force. This draws the attention of the Inquisitors, a group of Sith tasked with hunting down the remaining Jedi Knights. Former Jedi Cere Junda rescues Cal and the two set off on an adventure to stop the Inquistors.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis 9th Sister

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first of Respawn Entertainment’s single-player Star Wars games developed for Electronic Arts. The game received significant praise from critics and fans alike thanks to its story and gameplay, as well as faithful use of the Star Wars license. Originally released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019, the game received a next-gen port to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Premise

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis Wall Run

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a single-player action adventure game that takes place in the Star Wars universe. Blending elements of both Metroidvania titles and Soulslikes, players can use Cal’s lightsaber to combat enemies as well as traverse large, interconnected environments. As Cal obtains new skills and abilities, more areas of the map open up for further exploration. Cal can use The Force as both a tool for combat and traversal, including manipulating objects for climbing, swinging, and wall-running. The game’s traversal is similar to the Uncharted series, while its combat is reminiscent of From Software’s Sekiro.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Main Characters

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order characters

In addition to new series hero Cal Kestis, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order features a large cast of new and returning characters. Most characters are unique to the Star Wars Jedi series but other heroes and villains from Star Wars make an appearance. Characters in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order include:

  • Cal Kestis: Cal is the main character of Fallen Order and is a former Jedi Padawan in hiding. Despite never finishing his training, Cal is a skilled Jedi and capable with a lightsaber. In addition to wanting to stop the Inquisitors, Cal is in search of meaning regarding his place as one of the last Jedi.
  • Cere Junda: Cere Junda is a former Jedi who leaves the Order after losing her Padawan to the Dark Side. She rescues Cal after sensing his use of The Force and recruits him to help her stop the Inquisitors.
  • Greez Dritus: Greez Dritus is the pilot of the Stinger Mantis — the ship players will use in Fallen Order. He is a friend of Cere Junda and is a gifted pilot with a sharp wit.
  • BD-1: BD-1 is Cal Kestis’ faithful droid companion. Its diminutive size betrays the droid’s utility as a useful tool for subterfuge and espionage.
  • Saw Gerrera: Saw Gerrera is the leader of a Rebel resistance movement against the Empire. He is currently leading a massive military operation on the planet Kashyyyk. Saw hopes to recruit Cal as a useful member of the resistance.
  • Merrin: Merrin is one of the last surviving members of the Nightsisters on the planet Dathomir. The Nightsisters are a female order of Force-users separate from the Jedi.
  • Second Sister: The Second Sister is the de-facto leader of the Inquisitors and reports only to Darth Vader. She is the former Padawan of Cere Junda and ruthlessly hunts surviving Jedi across the galaxy.
  • Ninth Sister: The Ninth Sister is the second-in-command of the Inquisitors and uses her intimidating size and appearance to strike fear.
  • Sith Lord Darth Vader: Second-in-command only to the Emperor, Darth Vader is the Sith arm of the Galactic Empire. Once Anakin Skywalker, his turn to the Dark Side and defeat at the hands of Obi Wan Kenobi transformed him to the scarred Darth Vader. He is one of the most powerful Jedi in existence and a force to be feared.

Titles in the Star Wars Jedi Series

Since the series’ debut in 2019, Respawn Entertainment has only produced one other game in the Star Wars Jedi franchise. However, the success of both Fallen Order and its sequel has many fans hopeful that Respawn will complete the series as a trilogy. As of now, the two games in the Star Wars Jedi series are:

  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019)
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023)

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cheats and Unlockables

So, you’ve decided to turn to the Dark Side and use cheats on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Luckily, there are some options for gameplay cheats depending on which platform you’re playing. While console players don’t have access to cheats, there are several unlockables and ways to break sections of the game. Enabling Cheats for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on PC

Unlike titles such as Fallout 4, there are no console commands that players can pull up at any time to enable cheats. Instead, Fallen Order players will need to add cheats through use of one of three unofficial methods. Note that downloading and installing any third-party cheat software is done at your own risk. Since all three of the options for PC cheats are unofficial, they may affect the stability and performance of the game.

Unreal Engine 4 Console Unlocker
If you want to make any changes to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order‘s performance, this is how to do it. Simply install the Unreal Engine 4 Console Unlocker following the instructions at Nexus Mods. You can now adjust performance and visual settings for the game. Since these are Unreal Engine 4 commands, they only affect the engine and not gameplay.

Cheat Engine
Cheat Engine is an open source program that players can download to modify single-player games. Once Cheat Engine is installed, players can download and import Cheat Engine Tables. These Tables are user-created collections of cheats that are then automatically imported into your game. The Cheat Engine Table for Fallen Order can be found here. These cheats will allow players to do things like increase health and stamina, add stims, and more.

WeMod Trainer
The WeMod Trainer offers a cleaner and more user-friendly interface than Cheat Engine. There are options for either the Steam or Origin versions of Fallen Order, so make sure to download the correct one. The WeMod cheats for Fallen Order allow players to do things like set their EXP and level as well as unlock unlimited health.
