Depending on who you ask, Minecraft is a contender for the greatest game of all time. Minecraft is a 3D sandbox adventure game developed by Mojang Studios. The Story Mode spin-off is a choose-your-own-adventure style game developed by Telltale Games and Season 2 is the sequel to the first season. The Premise Of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2
After defeating the Wither Storm and saving the world, the previous main characters of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1 lives are now much more complicated. This game follows the same formula that other Telltale games follow. The story follows an episodic format with Season 2 being 5 episodes long. This is standard for most Telltale games. In each episode, the player’s choices affect the story in future episodes, and that agency is the appeal of these games.
Main Characters In Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2
- Jesse – Jesse is the playable main protagonist of Minecraft: Story Mode, whose gender and appearance are decided by the player.
- Petra – Petra is a fighter who is known as very determined and tough.
- Jack – Jack is a resilient fighter, and he cares for and protects his friends, such as Petra. The same goes for his partner, Nurm. He constantly blames himself for the deaths of his other friends.
- Nurm – Nurm does not talk much, but he is knowledgeable, being “the genius behind all of (Jack’s) fine maps”, and can read the runes in the Sea Temple. Unlike Jack, Nurm believes in the existence of the Admin genuinely.
- Radar – Radar adores Jesse and the New Order of the Stone. He enjoys working for Jesse and likes to help them.
- Lluna – Lluna is a disobedient, spirited llama, as shown when she tries to escape from Champion City several times due to Stella’s abuse. Lluna is a smart llama, as shown in “Jailhouse Block” when she tries to find a way to kill hostile mobs.
- Stella – Stella is a rude person who pretends to be nice and is unfair to the people who work for her. As Petra says, she’s “manipulative” and “pretty fond of herself.” However, Jesse and Petra find out that she wants to be just like them.
Other important characters
- Romeo – Romeo, more commonly known as “The Admin”, is the main antagonist of Minecraft: Story Mode, serving as the unseen overarching antagonist in Season 1 and the main antagonist of Season 2.
- Lukas – Lukas is the former leader of The Ocelots, the rivals of Jesse’s Gang. Later, he teams up with Jesse to stop Ivor and the Wither Storm.
- Axel – Axel is a large, strong human who is known to be a prankster and is one of Jesse’s best friends.

Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Cheat Code FAQs
Is Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 still playable? On May 31, 2019, it was announced that Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two would no longer be supported following the closure of Telltale Games. The servers for Story Mode – Season Two were discontinued on June 25, 2019, meaning that the episodes are no longer downloadable.
