Resident Evil Chronicles Getting HD Makeover

Wii titles Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be getting an upgrade to HD. In a recent press release, Capcom announced that both games would be bundled together in the upcoming Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection for the PlayStation 3.

The game will release in Europe and North America in June 2012 as a fully downloadable game. Each title will be available for purchase individually at a later date.

Both of these titles made extensive use of the Wii’s pointer and motion controls. Of course, this means that the HD versions will come will full Move compatibility.However, they can also be played with a plain old DualShock controller as well. The games will also come with a brand new set of PSN trophies to earn.
