A while back, Nintendo and Capcom revealed that they would be working together to release Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2 on the Nintendo Switch. Now we’ve finally got a release date for the ports! Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2 will both be coming to Nintendo Switch on November 28.
You’ll be able to buy Resident Evil: Revelations 1 either physically or digitally. Revelations 2 however, will only come as a download code contained within the physical box. This physical duo pack will be sold for $40, and the digital versions of the game will be $20 each from the Nintendo eShop.
If you aren’t sure where Resident Evil: Revelations fits into the franchise as a whole, let me elaborate a bit. Resident Evil 5 takes place, then Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2 , then comes the events in Resident Evil 6 . The original Resident Evil: Revelations was as 3DS title released in 2012 with eventual ports to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 released episodically on multiple platforms in 2015.
These ports of Resident Evil: Revelations will mark the first time the sequel has ever appeared on a Nintendo console. So if you want to be a part of history in the making, you might want to check it out.
