On Friday, SCEA Third Party Production Director Gio Corsi confirmed in a PlayStation blog post that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is finally coming to the PS Vita sometime this summer. He added that Frima Studio is hard at work on the port now to ensure that the title works properly on the handheld device.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is an episodic series that debuted on various consoles earlier this year. While the vita version was intended to release alongside the others, Sony felt it was necessary to take the extra time out to make the vita version as good as possible.
As a Vita owner, I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of quality games being developed for the device. Knowing that this game is in development does peak my interest, but I still want Sony to actually focus on making more exclusives for this console too.
