Rumor — Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Spotted for PS4 and Xbox One

It looks like Tomb Raider , one of the most critically acclaimed games of this year, will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. According to Amazon Italy, Tomb Raider will be released again on the PS4 on January 24. The game has a new moniker, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition , although it’s unclear what this has aside from the original game’s DLC. Amazon pre-orders will receive an exclusive art book however.

There is also a second listing for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition listed only as “next-gen.” While it’s possible that this is referring to the Wii U, it is more likely that it is referring to the Xbox One. Microsoft, Sony, and Square Enix have all not commented on the listing. However, it doesn’t seem like much of a stretch that this year’s best games will be coming to next-gen platforms early next year. After all, the game is already coming to Mac platforms.

The listings have since been taken down, but Amazon leaks tend to have been reliable in the past. So make sure to save at least 60 bucks after the holidays if you want to end up playing Tomb Raider on the PS4.
