Sequel to Arkham Asylum in the Works?

Sequel to Arkham Asylum in the Works?

None

In an interview with Official Playstation Magazine, as picked up on by Goonline Games, RockSteady’s Sefton Hill was able to expertly tiptoe around official confirmation of a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum while still letting us know that there is a lot of good stuff to explore should a return to the universe ever be made.

Specifically, Hill had this to say when asked directly if a sequel is in the wings:

‘I’m not really allowed to comment on that, but there are definitely lots of exciting stories to tell in Batman’s world, and I can say that we’re really privileged to work on it, and excited about future possibilities.’

While a return to gaming for the Dark Knight is a no-brainer (after all, B:AA was the highest rated super hero game of all time), I like how the comment discusses going back to “Batman’s world”. Perhaps the confines of Arkham are a little too small – Gotham may be a more appropriate stage for the sequel.
