Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES Cheat Codes for PlayStation 2 (PS2)

Persona 3 is a weird game. It’s a great game, debatably Atlus’s best entry in the Persona franchise. However, it’s the only one in the franchise that doesn’t have a definitive release. At the beginning of 2024, a modern from the ground up reimagining of this title was released for modern consoles, however, it was missing a huge chunk of content from the base release. Now this content is coming to the remake through an expansion DLC and when it does you can argue that, Persona 3 Reload will be the definitive release. However, many fans, myself included, believe that if you’re going to play this game it’s best to play Persona 3 FES for the original vibe.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES Premise

Persona 3 FES was the first upgrade that Persona 3 received from Atlus. The game is split into two parts. The Journey includes all the original game but with a few quality-of-life choices. Things like, new Personas to acquire, adjusted Social Links, and a new one for Aigis. The game also features, The Answer, an epilogue for the main game’s story and unique to this release at least until the DLC releases for Persona 3 Reload.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES Main Characters

• Makoto Yuki: The protagonist of Persona 3.
• Yukari Takeba: A playable character who shares the same homeroom with the protagonist.
• Junpei Iori: A playable character who also shares the same homeroom with Yukari and Makoto.
• Mitsuru Kirijou: Heir to the famous Kirijo Group and the previous leader of the SEES organization.
• Akihiko Sanada: An upperclassman at Makoto’s school, who works closely with Mitsuru.
• Fuuka Yamagishi: The navigator for SEES. She’s technically unplayable but just as important.
• Aigis: An anti-shadow suppression weapon. Her character arc revolves around her awakening to human emotion.
• Koromaru: A dog with the ability to manifest a Persona.
• Ken Amada: The youngest member of SEES.
• Shinjiro Aragaki: One of the founding members of SEES and a close friend of Akihiko.
• Metis: A character unique to Persona 3 FES. She is similar to Aigis and refers to her as her sister.

Final Boss Skip

If you start Tanaka’s social link on the 31st of January you can skip the final bosses and go straight to the game’s ending. This must be done right after the SEES meeting.

Endings

On the evening of December 31st, your protagonist will find himself alone in his room with another character to make a “very important decision”. What you do during this scene impacts the ending you get.

Monad Block

Monad is a special block inside Tartarus containing only 10 floors, but full of level 90+ shadows. It can be accessed once you reach the top of Tartarus and complete Elizabeth’s 53rd request.

New Game+ Mode

New Game + allows you to start The Journey from the beginning with progress gained when completed. The Answer however does not gain these benefits. Aspects that carry over into New Game + for The Journey include your playtime, Charm, Academics, and Courage, the main character’s level, your yen, your Persona compendium, your max S. Link items, your completed fusion spells, and any weapons, armor or accessories not equipped on your party members when you finish the game.

Unlock Elizabeth’s Request #55

Elizabeth’s 55th Request will have you facing off against the strongest enemy in the game, and cannot be challenged your first time through the game. After completing the game, request 55 is available on succeeding playthroughs. You must also complete request #53 as well.

Game Shark Codes

The codes below require a third-party device like Game Shark to work. PS2 Game Shark and other cheat machines like it work by injecting code into a game to alter its gameplay. This can cause unintended glitches in a game or its saved files. If used improperly, you can wipe your saved file or even completely break your game. BE SURE TO USE THE FOLLOWING CODES WITH CAUTION. If you are emulating Persona 3 FES then these codes should work still as long as your emulator supports Game Shark Codes.
