If building an ultra-modern utopia and then smashing it to bits with natural disasters sounds like a fun time to you, then you are in for a treat. EA is giving gamers a sneak peak at their latest SimCity offering.
An open beta for the game will launch next week and will last from January 25 th through January 28 th . The beta will contain only about an hour of gameplay, not enough to build a blooming metropolis, but it will be enough to familiarize players with the game’s new features. Personally, I can’t wait to finally, after all these years, create a city with curved roads. C urved roads!
You can sign up for the open beta on the official SimCity website. SimCity is planned to launch on March 5 th , 2012 on PC . It is currently only offered over EA’s Origin service.
