PopCap’s third-person cooperative / competitive shooter is taking its pun game to a whole new level in this trailer which they’ve given the title “Grass Effect.” The video shows off some new footage and a hilarious tie-in from another one of EA’s most beloved series (I bet you can’t guess which one).
The Mass Effect inspired Z7 mech-suit will be available to anyone who pre-orders Garden Warfare 2 , as well as 14 custom character emojis. Are these the most badass pre-order bonuses we’ve ever seen? No. No they’re not; but Plants vs. Zombies is a franchise that’s never taken itself too seriously, and these spoofy extras are a perfect fit for an already lighthearted game.
