Smash Bros not playable at E3

Smash Bros not playable at E3

None

According to Nintendo, the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros Brawl will not be playable at this year’s E3, despite a release date for 2007 and Hideo Kojima playing a “very complete” version of the game earlier this year.

Although news of this sort usually means that there are problems in the game’s development, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as Nintendo has assured us that the game will still ship in 2007.

Apparently the problem is with E3’s new presentation, which limits Nintendo’s time to present key titles.  Nintendo is reputably shifting their focus to new, unrevealed titles that will be playable.

We can, however, undoubtedly expect a lot of new information on Smash Bros. during E3, probably including new characters, stages, and gameplay information.
