Sony has announced its peripherals for the PlayStation 3. First and foremost is the PS3 controller named the Sixaxis for it’s motion-sensing capabilities. The controller will go on sale in Japan on November 11 for 5,000 yen ($42). Sony boast that the controller will have a 30-hour battery life.
A memory card adapter that reads PlayStation and PlayStation 2 memory cards will also be released on launch day for 1,500 yen ($12).
A remote control that utilizes the console’s Blu-ray functions will be out on December 7 in Japan for 3,600 yen ($30).
