Sony Kept Some PlayStation 4 Firmware 3.50 Features Secret

Sony Kept Some PlayStation 4 Firmware 3.50 Features Secret

When it came to PlayStation 4 firmware 3.50, Sony made a big deal of some things. It hyped up the ability to stream PS4 games to computers. It talked about checking out people in parties before you join, event creation, and even hiding your presence online. The thing is, there are more cool things in this update to enjoy.

The big deal is the return of streaming music through USB drives. B_Boss found the feature and posted about it on Reddit . Go to the “U” apps in your library and your USB music player will be back. You don’t even have to suspend a game to listen.

The other PlayStation 4 firmware 3.50 updates are more about convenience. You can turn off screenshot notifications, cut people you don’t know from the “People You May Know” section, get accurate Network Test information, and put a limit on how many people can be in a party when you make it. Also, people who have the setting that takes a screenshot when you earn a trophy will have the notification on it.

This was really a great update, right? Getting to have our music back is the best.
