Today, 2K games announced that a free playable demo of their new shooter Spec Ops: The Line is now available for Xbox LIVE gold members and PSN users everywhere. The demo puts players in the shoes of Captain Martin Walker as he undertakes a mission in Dubai amidst cataclysmic sandstorms. It features portions of two early chapters in Spec Ops: The Line, and hopefully it contains minimal spoilers. Only single-player modes will be available in the demo. The game’s unique class-based multiplayer will be left for the full product. 
The full game will launch on June 26 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in North America, and it will be available internationally on June 29. It is likely that we will see a complete build of the game at this year’s E3. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
