Although Japan is getting plenty of Mario-themed anniversary goodies (including Wii/DS consoles and special game releases) at least one of these collector’s items will be making it to the US: the red DSi XL. This special edition DSi XL features a bright red color with a Mario-themed design on the top. The handheld will also come with three pre-installed DSiWare titles (BrainAge Express Math, BrainAge Express Arts and Culture, and Photo Clock), as well as a Mario Kart DS game cartridge. According to the Wal-Mart website, the bundle will be priced at less than $200, but there is no mention of a release date.  |
