The next Nintendo Direct will take place just before E3 on June 11 th . While we knew that there’d be discussion about Super Smash Bros., we now know that we’ll also see a trailer for the game. Masahiro Sakurai, director of the next Smash Bros. title, hopes that they can show off both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game at E3. He added that there will be a key link between the two versions.
The game was announced way back in 2011. Since then, there hasn’t been any further news. E3 2013 will be its coming out party and a much needed shot of adrenaline for the Wii U and Nintendo.
