Telltale’s Batman Story Begins on August 2

Telltale’s Batman Story Begins on August 2

Here’s some good news. Telltale Games isn’t making us wait until the San Diego Comic Con to find out when its Batman: The Telltale Series begins its run. Batman, Bruce Wayne, and Catwoman’s adventures will begin before you know it, as Episode One: Realm of Shadows will arrive on almost every platform on August 2. Really, I mean almost everything. Batman: The Telltale Series is coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS that day.

In addition to this very welcome release date announcement, Telltale decided to show us a bit more of Batman: The Telltale Series . Which is very much appreciated, as we haven’t had that many screenshots to go on and many of the initial trailers didn’t show actual gameplay. Plus, it means we get to hear Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Enn Reitel as Alfred, Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and some of the other cast members.

This is really looking like an interesting game. The voice acting in that trailer is top notch, and we know Telltale is good with adaptations of comic books. Look at how well Fables and The Walking Dead turned out. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Batman: The Telltale Series too.
