The Complete List of Pokemon Characters From Generation 3

The third generation of Pokemon is so much more than just Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. This generation of Pokemon is full of phenomenal games with great characters in riveting storylines. Enjoyers of the series might not come to this series for its characters but that doesn’t mean the franchise is lacking in the character department. Pokemon has a huge cast of characters with some of them not even being involved in battling Pokemon. The series is usually criticized for its shallow characters and narrative but there is a lot of depth if you look for it. Here is an exhaustive list of Pokemon characters from the third generation of games.

Brendan

Brendan is the male choice for the player character in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald and their Generation VI remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. When Brendan isn’t chosen as the player character, he is working on his Pokedex and hoping to become a Pokemon Professor. He and May are the only rivals you can no longer battle after entering the Hall of Fame. They are also the only ones who don’t evolve their starter Pokemon into its final evolution.
