After The Division’ s March 22 patch, a bad bug surfaced . People who crafted a high-end backpack would log in to find it had disappeared, then discover they were locked out of the game as a result. Ubisoft acknowledged the problem and said it was working on a fix. Now, we’ve learned it won’t be repaired until April 12.
Yes, 21 days to fix a game-breaking bug. It can’t come any earlier, as it’s so severe that it requires a full client patch to fix. So, when update 1.1 arrives in about a week, all of the people suffering from this glitch will finally get a chance to play their game again.
How disappointing is that? It really makes you wish for those days when games weren’t always online and didn’t need constant patches to keep working, right?
