Being a fan of strategy games, this story caught my eye immediately. I’ve been musing over branching out my palette of strategy games, and it seems I have found an opportunity to do so!
The Indie Strategy Bundle , presented by Bundle In A Box and pushed by Kyttaro Games , is an assortment of various indie strategy games. For a price of “pay-what-you-want” (a minimum of $1.99), you can get seven of the 11 games, or you can get all 11 strategy games should you like once you pay over a certain average (currently $4.98 at the time of writing). Having said that, I must be frank: be fair when paying for such bundles; don’t pay an insultingly low price for 11 games if you can. If you can’t, that’s okay, I understand that quite personally, so I would advise that you not spend a low amount of money on videogame bundles like this, and just save it. Who am I to preach though? Spend your money as your will, but at least be considerate.
The bundle itself will last for 14 days, starting today, and offers all games as DRM-free downloads (except for the games within the bundle that require Steam and/or Desura to run).
For every 100 bundles sold, 15 percent of the proceedings from this bundle will be added to the Indie Dev Grant , which is a fund that will be later awarded to an upcoming developer by popular vote. What’s more is that five percent of all the generated revenue will be shared with the Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Treatment of Child and Family.
Lastly, for every 500 bundles sold, new extras will be unlocked for all those who purchased the Indie Strategy offer through Bundle In A Box. As an added bonus, anyone who purchases the bundle will receive exclusive content for the iOS game Droidcape: Basilica .
