The Humble Indie Bundle’s Success Isn’t Quite So Humble

The Humble Indie Bundle’s Success Isn’t Quite So Humble

None

The Humble Indie Bundle has already passed $1 million across close to a quarter million downloads. This unique offer allows you to download six fantastic indie titles for whatever price you want. You can divide your payment among the games’ developers, charity, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation in any way you’d like.

For the unfamiliar, this bundle brings with it half a dozen games: Crayons Physics Deluxe, Cogs, VVVVVV, Hammerfight, And Yet It Moves, and Steel Storm. The games cover a wide variety of genres from puzzles to platformers, and everyone who purchases the bundle also gets free access to Minecraft until August 14. The games are also compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, so no one’s left out of the fun.

According to the official Humble Indie Bundle site, Windows gamers are pretty cheap, spending an average of $3.80 for the bundle. Mac owners, on the other hand, average $6.60. Of course, both these numbers are paltry when compared to the cool $11.63 Linux gamers are dropping on the bundle.

There’s only a week left in the promotion, so if cheap entertainment for a good cause is your cup ‘o tea, I highly suggest checking it out before it ends and this incredible deal is gone forever. Or at least until it returns next year.
