OK, so Plants vs. Zombies 2 was a bit of a letdown, but maybe Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be better? You’ll have a chance to check and see right now, as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beta has begun. People can face off against one another for free until January 18.
Of course, you can’t do everything. This is only a beta, after all. The Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 beta has the Frosty Creek and Z-Tech Factory maps available and Flag of Power, Gnome Bomb, Suburbination, Team Vanquish, and Vanquish Confirmed modes. Two 24 player maps, Moon Base Z and Seeds of Time, will also appear.
As for characters, six will be available to use during the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 beta. The three plants are Citron the orange bounty hunter, Kernel Corn and his two cob busters, and Rose the sorceress. The zombies are Captain Deadbeard the pirate, the robot-driving Imp & Z-Mech, and Super Brainz the superhero.
EA has not announced a PC beta for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 .
