Back in September 2014, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was released on the PC to near-unanimous praise from players and critics alike. From its impressive visuals to its clever, slowly-unraveled tale, the game was a solid piece of storytelling. Unfortunately, it was PC-exclusive at the time, so not everyone out there had the chance to play it. Well, now console owners get to play the game as well!
While developers The Astronauts claimed the game would be coming to the PS4 in the near future, a PS Store product page pegs the official release date as July 15. So, if you’re up for an exploration game that has adventure elements in it (it’s slightly similar in tone to games like Gone Home ), check back on the PSN next week.
