Last Friday, CD Projekt RED confirmed on their blog that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for digital pre-order through the Xbox Games Store on Xbox One. This highly anticipated title is discounted for Xbox Live Gold members and currently retails for $53.99.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has also been available for digital pre-order through the PlayStation store for several weeks. Players also have the option of buying the game and the expansion pass together from either store for the discounted price of $76.49. PC gamers can pre-order the game through various digital outlets such as Steam and GoG. GoG versions of the game are discounted if you have purchased previous Witcher titles through the service.
Giving players the ability to purchase digital releases is something that a lot of developers are doing these days. This eliminates the need for players to travel to different retailers to pick up their games when they can just download and play them right as soon as they launch.
