This Summer Is An 8-Bit Summer, Says Nintendo

None

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has promised a fresh wave of Virtual Console games to come to the 3DS this summer.

This “8-Bit Summer,” as they’re calling it, will feature a new game coming out each week on the virtual console, starting with a new version of the NES Legend of Zelda on July 5th. This will be followed by Kirby’s Pinball Land and The Sword of Hope II on July 12th, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters and Tumblepop on July 19th, and the much loved Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 on July 26th. The 8-bit Summer will stop August 1st.

In addition to the aforementioned titles, Sonic Blast and Sonic Labyrinth will also be released sometime during the 8-Bit Summer. However, at this point these games aren’t dated, so we will just have to wait until Nintendo gives us more info.
